The shorter arms on the Raja Chair were designed not to interfere with crossing the legs on the chair and can also help with getting up and down and with resting the arms while seated.

The dimensions and design of The Raja Meditation Chair are otherwise the same as the Serenity Chair so both will work equally well for supporting proper posture in meditation.
